Making Homemade Soft Butter

Making homemade butter is so fun and simple!

All you need is-
1- Glass Quart canning jar with lid
1- Pint of Organic Heavy Whipping Cream
And the Family to Sake - Shake - Shake
(It took us about 10 minutes with the kids.)

This made a soft fluffy butter that is very similar to the butter served at a restaurant with your breakfast.
We added Honey with the butter but the possibilities are unlimited.  Adding BASIL and spices to the butter served with a nice piece of steak would be delightful.

The Ezekiel 4:9 Bread I served the honey butter on is a made from freshly sprouted organically grown grains, naturally flavorful and bursting with nutrients. Rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and natural fiber with no added fat.  My family's favorite is the Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted 100% whole grain flourless Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

Summer Herb Pasta salad

Making a simple pasta salad with few ingredients tastes great and my boys loved it.  I started out with pasta along with; basil, chives, cherry tomatoes, parmesan asiago cheese, sea salt, pepper and olive oil.  The great thing about pasta salad is you can add just about anything but sometimes just going back to a few ingredients that have exceptional flavor really tastes the best.  Try our Genovese Basil and Onion Chives Seeds for your next herb garden!

Garden Meatloaf

Meatloaf is a easy meal to add a variety of vegetables to and helps the meal go farther.  When adding additional vegetables I like to add more bread chunks and eggs to help keep it together.  In these pictures I added;  tomatoes, celery with celery leafs, basil, chives, scallions, purple onion and garlic.  I love the color of all the vegetables and the smell is amazing as it cooks.  Using fresh vegetables from your own garden and knowing where and how they were grown is rewarding and benefits the whole family.
